WHY is the old Ritzy's site in Burnley not being maintained to accommodate another nightclub.
This must surely be a profitable venture, which in turn benefits all the taxi companies and late night food establishments of the surrounding area. Burnley is severely lacking a large nightclub since Ritzy closed down.
With other venues regarded by many as cramped and limited, many turn to Blackburn's Peppermint place as the nearest decent club... this surely is not good for Burnley.
The youth of Burnley and Pendle rely on Burnley as a focal point of nightlife, which benefits themselves and those in business to accommodate them.
So why has another club not taken up residence in this site?
