JUDGES had a blooming tough time in a best-kept Blackburn garden competition.
Over 475 gardens were judged in the Brookhouse and Bastwell Glorious Gardens contest, part of the council's Greenweek festival.
Zamilla and Mahmood Natha, of London Road, won the prize for best large garden, and Kathleen Wardingley, of Sted Terrace, won best small garden.
Both received certificates and garden equipment.
