SITTING here in Lexington, South Caroline, USA, a small town of about 10,000 people, I am surprised to see what a small world it is.
In reading the letters in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, I find there is very little difference between what the folk in England write in letters to the editor and the letters that we write to our local newspaper.
It appears the day-to-day problems of people are the same, whatever part of the world they are in.
It is truly a delight to read your newspaper and see that the world really is small and that our wants, desires and aims are about the same.
