A SERIES of Mystery Plays, depicting the stories from the old and new testaments, begins tomorrow with one of the Ribble Valley's most historic churches as a backdrop.
The plays, to be staged in the open air arena of Whalley Abbey, will mark the 700th anniversary of the arrival of the monks to Whalley.

A cast of over 100 people from all over the Ribble Valley will take part.
