A NEW company has been formed to help steer firms through the multi-media maze.
Promethean - the latest addition to the TDS House stable of technology companies - aims to capitalise on the fast-growing telematics market.
The Blackburn firm will supply multi-media IT systems for group uses including classroom situations, board meetings, sales conferences and training courses.
Systems featured include video and data conferencing facilities, Internet access, interactive presentations and computer-based training.
The firm can also advise on lighting, acoustics and furniture for presentation rooms.
"Many people already use the Internet, E-mail and video conferencing on their desktop and we want to extend their systems to work with groups of colleagues at both ends of the communications link," said Mike Lawton, director.
A new state-of-the-art demonstration suite has been opened at TDS House including large-screen colour monitors, interactive whiteboards and high speed video conferencing.
