AS the pandemonium of Mad Cow Disease rumbles on, maybe it is a blessing in disguise to shock and deter people from the meat-eating habit and veer to vegetarian diets.
Factory farms and the butchery trade appears to be declining with the introduction of kangaroo, ostrich and frog. Whatever next - dogs from China?
Even so, high street stores extend their non-flesh food ranges as the humanitarian pupils of today become the vegetarian family of the future.
