A GANG of teenagers kicked one boy in the head and threatened another with a screwdriver before demanding cash.
About a dozen youths attacked a 12-year-old boy in Orchard Street, Preston, at 1pm on Monday, May 27. They dragged him into an alley, began kicking him and held a sharp instrument to his neck. A passer-by intervened and the victim ran off.
Just 20 minutes later another boy, also aged 12, was approached on the Flag Market by a gang, one of whom was carrying a screwdriver. They stole an imitation Tag watch and £8.50 in cash. If you have any information about these crimes call Preston police on 203203.
