SOME correspondents recently wrote in to criticise Nynex Cable Communications.
If a company provides 25 per cent cheaper telephone bills, and connection charges for new customers is £25, compared to BT's £116, I know which one I would choose.
No wonder BT is losing 60,000 customers a month.
A recent BBC TV consumer survey revealed Cable phones are cheaper.
What harm does competition do? It is better for consumers and gives wider choices.
No conglomerate should have a complete monopoly. Let's have more competition.
