SONGSTERS of Haydock Male Voice Choir will be hitting the high notes in Southport when they take part in a special concert commemorating the last war.
The choir are one of the main attractions at the event at Southport Theatre on Saturday, June 29, and will be performing some of the old favourites sung during the war to raise people's spirits.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and will also feature St Helens-born comedian Bernie Clifton, as well as She 3, Geoff Richards, and The Chethams School of Music Jazz Ensemble.
Tickets cost £7, £5.50 for OAPs, and can be obtained from the theatre box office on 01704 540404 or from any member of the choir.
