A YEAR-old cat is recovering after being shot for the second time.
Moses, a long-haired black cat, has undergone a major operation to place a metal plate in his front paw shattered by an airgun pellet, just four months after being shot in the back!
Owner Joanne Hayes of Willoughby Drive, West Park, said: "The family were devastated when Moses came home and we realised that he had been shot again. Once is bad enough, but twice in a matter of months is beyond belief.
"Our two children Christopher (11) and seven-year-old Rachel have been upset by the ordeal and we hope that this won't happen again. There are some sick people out there and I don't know how anybody could inflict pain like this on an animal."
