NICK Marsh made an unbeaten 106 to help Read to a 142-run victory over Baxenden.
Shahid Nawz also hit a stylish 76 as the Vaux Ribblesdale League leaders made 243-3 and then bowled the home team out for 101.
Second-placed Barnoldswick also enjoyed a win over Whalley, but there were defeats for Earby and Padiham.
Barlick professional James Peterson made 132 in his side's total of 215-5, and the 62-run win was sealed as Whalley slumped to 153 all out.
Earby struggled to 195-6, which Oswaldtwistle passed with four wickets standing, while Padiham suffered five-wicket defeat at the hands of Clitheroe, who easily passed the Arbories team's total of 132.
