SHOULD we refuse to travel to Burma because of its human rights record?
I often stood on the hill positions in the jungles of Burma, during the Second World War and watched the sunrises and sunsets.
In war and peace, Burma is beautiful.
Many have paid the price in the past to protect its shores.
Many still pay the price today, but for a different reason.
I am fortunate to have seen its beauty. I hope in the future many more will be able to do the same.
