IFEEL I should take you to task on your editorial '10 out of 10 for Mr Blair' on June 7.
One aspect you have conveniently ignored has been the destructive and ruinous manipulations of teaching unions and many of their more active members.
Their disruptive behaviour over the past few years has been quite deliberately designed to oppose the implementation of any change in the education process which might have given some benefit to the pupils in their charge.
It has been the introduction of parent and non-politically motivated governors in our schools that has at last brought some semblance of normality, and of course has highlighted something that teaching unions have for so many years tried so hard to hide - the inability of many of their members actually to teach.
Yet it is these very people who would put Mr Blair in government.
Ten out of ten is exactly where I would put Mr Blair. Ten years out of 10 Downing Street - at least.
