WORKERS in the North West were more likely to be cheated by bosses who were criminally underpaying them, it was revealed today.
The region came joint top of a league of shame in a report published by the Low Pay Unit.
It revealed that the North West and South West were the worst areas in the country for the percentage of employers who illegally underpaid their employees during the previous year.
