IWAS pleased to see the recent advertisements with supermarkets encouraging people to eat vegetables to help ward off cancer.
As the Oxford University Vegetarian Study has shown, vegetarians suffer from a staggering 40 per cent less cancer than people who choose to eat flesh.
It would be even more encouraging to see cancer research charities, which are receiving funding from these vegetable promotions, educating people on the benefits of a vegetarian diet in preventing cancer.
Instead, they waste millions of pounds and animal lives in cruel animal experiments, waiting for miraculous cures when prevention is at their fingertips.
