THE Prime Minister has sent a message of congratulation after hearing about the success of Silentnight's Layezee Beds division. The firm has increased sales by 20 per cent and taken on 16 extra workers to cope with demand.
Environment Minister James Clappison and local MP Elizabeth Peacock recently visited the Batley factory to see its achievements. They are seen with David Walton and John Wiseman of Silentnight. Mrs Peacock highlighted the firm's success in the Commons and John Major asked her to pass on his congratulations.
