EVER since the Tea Break cafeteria opened between the two escalators in the shopping precinct, customers have been showered with cigarette ash from youths smoking as they slouch over the rail above and dust from cleaners sweeping the floor above.
Missiles have also been lobbed at the counter staff preparing food and sitting ducks below.
Why hasn't a protective canopy been put up by now and how does this hygiene problem rest with the investigation during National Food Safety Week which ended on June 16?
