BURNLEY boss, Adrian Heath, is still chasing his 21-year-old Portugese man 'o war in time for the start of pre-season training next month.
Heath is also believed to be having talks with an English First Division midfielder and a Premiership defender.
"I'm closing in on at least two targets," said the Turf Moor chief.
"Ideally I would like to have at least three new faces at the club for the start pre-season training.
"The time is now coming when players' contracts are expiring and the transfer market will begin to burst into life. Burnley want be right in the middle."
The Clarets' Portugese target has attracted attention from the Premiership and it is understandable Heath wants him to remain annonymous.
"I believe we have sold Burnley to him," added Heath, "and I'm sure he was impressed with what he saw here."
