SO 'politicians are pawns' are they? or at least in the closed and nightmarish opinion of Mrs Sylvia Noble they are (Letters, June 18).
In her display of verbal tantrums she bluntly states in her numbered points the biggest load of old codswallop it's ever been my misfortune to read from a so-called educated woman.
Hitler's miracle was a trick, as the country was recovering anyway and the mechanics of it's economic miracle had been put in place by a businessman called Gustav Strasseman.
Gustav was one of the chancellors in the Weimar republic for Mrs Noble's information, which in it's enlightened view of society was the percusor to the 'Fuhrers' ignoble reign of the warrior caste, where Hitler was more interested in 'Guns before butter' than establishing stability and prosperity.
On the rest of her diatribe, I will leave the democratic politicians to take the blinds off her narrow vision and answer her points for I'm just revolted by her prejudicial and malevolence-filled comments that belong only to books such as 'Mein Kampf' - and that was the half baked theories of a cuckoo bird as well.
