TWO men dressed as security guards tried to snatch wages from a Colne mill today after throwing smoke bombs.
The drama at Thomas Mason's mill in Burnley Road began at 10.30am as a Securicor van delivered wages to the factory and then left. Shortly after, two men dressed in uniforms similar to those of Securicor complete with crash helmets went into the building, setting off fire alarms and throwing two smoke devices.
