PRESTON North End's club coffin, buried three years ago in a Bamber Bridge pub to mourn the team's relegation, will be exhumed and carried through the streets once again ... but this time in celebration of the club's promotion to Division Two.
The parade will leave Church Road at 1 pm on Saturday August 10 and travel along the main street to the Withy Trees pub on Station Road to lift the blue and white coffin out of its tomb.
It is hoped that North End players and officials will take part in the ceremony.
