I WOULD strongly agree with the views of Mr Hodgson who wrote about the sorry state of the large farmhouse opposite Haydock Park.
We have recently seen an impressive sign go up on the East Lancs welcoming people to St Helens - the next thing visitors see is this lovely old farmhouse in rack and ruin.
Surely the council must take action to protect this building.
