BAe Preston held leaders Longridge to a draw at the Riverside, but the visitors got the better of the points allocation and extended their lead over second placed Garstang.
Longridge completed their innings on 193 for 5, Procter top scoring with a skilful 91, before restricting BAe Preston to 95 for 7.
Garstang bowled out Thornton Cleveleys for 128, Winstanley returning 5 for 44, but the seasiders held Garstang to 78 for 8 thanks to Potter with 4 for 21.
Fulwood and Broughton returned to winning ways with a four wicket win at Freckleton, while Vernon Carus triumphed over Fylde by the same margin.
Penwortham lost ground at Wrea Green, where the home side made the days highest score 209 for 5, Davies falling two short of a century, and then only just failed to bowl out Penwortham, who finished on 136 for 9, and pleased to have salvaged one point.
