AFTER months of congestion and traffic cones, Brownhill roundabout is finally getting back to normal.
The new road system, controlled by traffic lights, has definitely cut the risk of accidents and makes travelling in and out of Blackburn much quicker.
For the first time in almost a year, people can actually stop at the local shops and the Brownhill Arms car park is free from traffic cones.
Frustrating traffic jams are thankfully a quickly disappearing memory, and good heavens, I can even set off for work later each morning!
I am sure that all those who were angered by the upheaval and inconvenience of the roadworks will.
Despite the hassle I'm sure motorists will appreciate the better layout and traffic flow.
