TWO attackers pounced on a 22 year-old man as he walked along the disused railway line at Deepdale Retail Park.
The first man threatened him with a knife and demanded money. When he attempted to walk on the thief with the knife tried to slash him across the face.
He held his arm up to block the blow and the knife cut his arm. The thieves then ran off. The attack took place at around 2.30am on Saturday, June 8.
The thieves were both white, about 5ft 11ins tall, wearing blue jeans and were in their early 20s. One wore a cream and blue checked scarf across his face; the other had a dark blue or black sweat top with the hood up.
Teenagers were caught trying to remove the back of a fruit machine in an arcade on Orchard Street, Preston at 2.20pm on Saturday, June 8.
The first boy was white, aged about 18, around 5ft 6ins tall, wearing a white canvas baseball hat, red sweatshirt, light blue jeans and light coloured trainers.
His accomplice was an Asian boy, possibly named Dixie, of about the same age, about 5ft 7/8ins tall and wearing an orange kagoul, light coloured jeans.
