It is an unacceptable state of affairs when in a Christian democracy people without cars are too afraid to attend evening church meetings because of the lack of police patrols on our streets.
Pendle is a cultural desert of the unemployed and old age pensioners, none of whom have the purchasing power to attract commerce into the area, and our council does not inspire confidence for the future.
The pseudo-continental plaza Place de Creil deceives no one, the town is a grotty right off.
