WITH little walking experience between them, solid determination by Tyldesley twosome Vicky Partington, 20, and Graham Wilkinson, 26, will definitely be needed when the pair take part in the Cadbury Strollerthon 1996 in London in July.
The friends, from Parr Street, will be walking the 10 mile route through the capital to raise cash for the Save the Children and One Small Step charities.
So far the couple have raised about £50 each in sponsorship but are on the lookout for more.
Vicky, a veterinary nurse, said: "We both feel this is a good event to enter and we are hoping more sponsors will come forward between now and the Strollathon on Sunday, July 14. Anyone interested in sponsoring us can contact me on 0161 794 1431 during the day, or 01942 887256."
