COMPUTER consultant Alwyn Davis performed his first official duty as new president of Blackburn West Rotary Club when he presented a charity cheque.
Mr Davis, of Preston Old Road, Blackburn, presented a cheque for £350 to the Life Education Trust for Lancashire after retiring president Malcom Haydock handed over the presidency.
The £350 donation will be used to help the Life Education Trust charity buy a high-tech caravan to help spread the anti-drugs message to schoolchildren.
