POLICE were called to a town centre fish and chip shop when staff began scuffling during the busy lunch hour yesterday.
Customers watched in amazement as two members of staff began fighting inside the Hake Boat chippy on Railway Road in Blackburn.
A member of staff called police but no action was taken.
The boss of the chippy, who refused to be named, said: "It was just a minor disturbance between staff. It has all been sorted out. This has never happened before."
Inspector Stuart Coates said: "Two people were fighting in the chip shop. It was a domestic between chip shop staff. We responded as a result of a call from another member of staff but no action was required."
