PARENTS are being urged to act quickly to get help with transport costs for the next school year.
A spokesman for Lancashire County Council said: "With about 25,000 bus or rail passes to issue countywide it is imperative that all parents get their completed re-issue letters or application forms to us as quickly as possible.
"We know that many applications have not yet been sent to us and we are already at the stage where we are unable to guarantee that passes will be received by pupils and students for the beginning of the new academic year."
