SEALS went on post boxes throughout the Blackburn area as the "offensive language" dispute in Preston's sorting office took a turn for the worse. And in the Burnley area there was to be no second-class mail collection. Trouble flared when workers at Preston's office walked out in support of delivery colleagues striking over a man being suspended for using "offensive and abusive language".
