A FORMER Clitheroe postie's own postcards are on display again in his home town.
Mr Hugh Cooper, who lived in Seedall Avenue, Clitheroe, in the 1960s and 70s, retired to Cornwall almost 20 years ago. He was well known at the time as postman and a keen amateur artist with a particular interest in local architecture.
Now Mr Cooper has sent some of his own hand-drawn postcards depicting Cornwall scenes for display in the Old Toll House, Parson Lane, Clitheroe.
Mr Halfpenny, who owns the Old Toll House, said he had been in contact with Mr Cooper after his premises had been featured in a magazine and Mr Cooper had pointed out that he too had once drawn pictures of the Clitheroe building.
