A MAJOR blaze that gutted a mill was being investigated by police.
Fire crews fought to stop flames spreading from Fulledge Works, Holmes Street, Burnley, to adjoining works.
Firefighters arrived to find the roof of the building well alight and had to call in back-up crews from Padiham, Nelson, Accrington and Blackburn. Police were called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
