YOUNG Enterprise team members from the Ribble Valley are preparing to pit their business wits against junior entrepreneurs from all over Europe in an international competition.
The Milieu chime making company from Longridge High School, has already won the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley, regional and UK heats of the Young Enterprise 1996 contest and now a four-strong team taken from the 12 company members will be jetting off the Israel next month for the European finals. If the team is successful there, Longridge will represent Europe in the worldwide competition in the USA later in the year.
In the meantime, the entrepreneurs are continuing to get all the help they can from their lead company Jones Stroud in Longridge, their teachers and, of course, the full support of their school and everyone in Longridge!
