A MAN has appeared in court today accused of murdering nightclubber Kevin Sudall.
Anthony Thomas Aspinall, 24, of Windermere Close, Blackburn, was remanded in custody until Friday by Blackburn magistrates.
He is alleged to have murdered Kevin outside a nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Two other men, including one aged 17, were still being questioned about the incident by murder squad detectives today. Kevin, 22, of View Road, Darwen, died from severe head and facial injuries following an incident outside Club Euro in Cicely Lane, Blackburn, at around 2.30am.
The former pupil at St Bede's High School, Blackburn, was taken to Blackburn Infirmary but was then transferred to the neurological unit at Royal Preston Hospital, where he died at around 9am on Saturday.
Police immediately issued an appeal for eyewitnesses among the 200 people outside the club at the time of the incident to come forward.
Kevin, who worked for Blackburn-based East Lancashire Refrigeration, was a keen member of Darwen Golf Club.
