A SCHOOLGIRL stunner from the Ribble Valley has her sights set on supermodel stardom.
Teenager Sally Eaton, of Clitheroe, has been voted one of the UK's newest catwalk queens after reaching the final of a national modelling competition.
The finals of the 1996 Elite Model Look contest will take place in London on July 17 but Sally and her fellow finalists have just returned from the "shoot" of their young lifetimes in Disneyland Paris.
A pupil at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, 15-year-old Sally from Cowark, is one of a dozen budding young supermodels who will be hoping to find fame and fortune on the catwalk after the competition.
She has beaten off thousands of entries sent in from all over the UK to get so far in the contest and is hoping to follow in the footsteps of the top names such as Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Sally's own favourite Karen Mulder.
Sally said: "I had completely forgotten that I had sent the photographs in and it was a lovely surprise to find out I had reached the finals of this competition without even realising it!
"I have never really thought about a career in modelling. I have set my sights on working with animals or plants, but if the opportunity arises I don't think I would say no.
