THE HIGH life suited Rossendale Marine Roger Eldergill down to the ground when he became one of the first people to abseil from Blackpool Tower.
Ex-Falklands commando Roger, of Dunnockshaw, and three fellow Marines jumped to it for charity, hoping to raise £10,000 for the BBC's Children In Need appeal.
The nerve-tingling plunge was the first time anyone has abseiled from the famous British landmark.
