A NOISY crowd of anti-poll tax demonstrators brought chaos to a council chamber before police ejected them. The youths interrupted the Hyndburn Council meeting with a loud whistle before shouting : 'No poll tax jailings.'
They then shouted abuse at councillors before showering them with ripped-up agenda papers from the public gallery. 'Tory lapdogs,' shouted one demonstrator in the Labour-controlled chamber.
