FYLDE'S favourite funnymen are all set to rock Blackpool this summer with their show at the Grand Theatre.
Rock with Laughter stars Cannon and Ball and kicks off tonight (July 4) with the help of comedian Peter Piper and Sheila Ferguson's tribute to the Three Degrees.
The show promises to have audiences rocking in the aisles and is an ideal opener to another top season of entertainment at the theatre.
The autumn/winter season will have something for everyone from comedy, drama, rock and roll or the classics.
It begins with The Official Tribute to the Blues Brothers, an international stage hit with all the popular tunes, on November 4.
A change of pace follows this, with the Northern Ballet Theatre's production of Dracula from November 12-16.
Drama takes the theatre by storm during November and December with Orwell's Animal Farm and Shakespeare's Henry IV, Parts I and II, the latter starring Timothy West as the corrupting Falstaff.
Musicals take over the season, too, with a re-appearance of Blackpool favourites, Hull Truck Theatre Company.
The group presents Shakers, a musical by Jane Thornton and the hilarious John Godber.
Wayne Sleep and Lorna Luft star in Hollywood and Broadway, The Musicals in Concert on November 29 and 30, with performances from Cabaret, West Side Story, 42nd Street and more.
Classical music comes to the Grand, too, with an Opera Factory production of Mozart's The Magic Flute and Carmen, by Bizet, performed on ice.
Danny Moar, general manager, said: "We are delighted that our new season programme is almost complete with many favourites returning and some exciting companies new to the Grand, too.
"We now look forward to presenting a full and sparkling programme of drama, dance, ballet, music and comedy later this year."
Booking information on any Grand Theatre performance is available on 28372.
