A HOST of top stars are expected to draw crowds of more than 100,000 to Preston's Avenham Park this weekend for the town's biggest ever Party in the Park.
Chart-busting artists Let Loose and former Eastenders star turned singer Sean Maguire are just some of the acts lined up for the Party, billed as the largest free festival in the North West.
They will be joined on Sunday by pop sensation Peter Andre and Upside Down. Local bands will also be given the chance to share the limelight in the event organised by Preston Borough Council, Rock FM and Red Rose Gold.
The Red Rose line-up on Saturday, from 6pm to 10.30pm, includes Queen tribute band Gaga and 70s superstars Lindisfarne.
Fans will be able to re-live their classic hits which include Meet Me on the Corner, Run for Home and Fog on the Tyne. These appearances will follow live sets by The Chicago Blues Band, Tower Struck Down and Baboon.
The marathon concert will also feature singers Lisa Moorish and Dana Dawson with boy band 4 Mandu and Berri, Clock, Deuce, Crush, Space, Spice Girls, Kavanagh - plus appearances by Blofeld, Pablo, Tripitaka, Obvious Bob and Blameless.
