DON'T let his size and age deceive you. Young Scott Fisher may be tiny but he's a force to be reckoned with.
The super-tot five-year-old is learning the ancient martial art of Tae Kwondo and already winning medals.
The St Gabriel's School, Blackburn, pupil took up the sport a few months ago and is the youngest member at his Tae Kwondo club in Cleveleys.
But he is so committed he goes to lessons twice a week and has just won a gold and bronze medals after competing in his first competition. His proud mum Jackie said: "Scott is only five but showing a lot of dedication.
"Tae Kwondo demands a lot of discipline and he is showing that.
"He loves going to his lessons and is thrilled to have won prizes in his first contest."
Scott walked away with first place in the fight section for his weight group and a bronze medal in the pattern section, in which he had to show his discipline by performing and holding the complex positions used in the sport.
"I am really proud of him," said Jackie.
"He was competing against adults in the pattern section so did extra well."
