FAST-growing East Lancashire wall-covering group Coloroll, of Nelson, won its £14 million battle to buy out Staffordshire Potteries.
The company announced it would issue nearly eight million new shares to raise £12.9 million to finance its expansion. Staffordshire directors were recommending that shareholders accept the offer and irrevocable undertakings meant that Coloroll were guaranteed a controlling of 61 per cent.
