BARBARA Byrne admits to being a bit of a 'Devil Woman'!
But Sir Cliff Richard's 'girlfriend' who now weighs-in at a trim 16 stone after losing over five stones in 12 months hasn't been stopped from globe-trotting after her pop hero.
Arthritis in her feet has forced the Lowton carer to lose weight.
But Barbara, 34, (pictured) hasn't lost her chirpy nature.
She joked: "Whether I am big or not it hasn't stopped me flying to Australia twice to see Cliff without the plane swaying from side to side. And it hasn't stopped me twice running across Wembley Stadium to see him without causing too much damage to the turf!
"In fact I don't think being big has stopped me doing anything, and I always try to stay cheerful."
Barbara - "I've always been big and don't over-eat" - this week joined the criticism of a recent Journal letter-writer who slammed pie-eating fatties.
"The comments were an insult to big people and I think it is the personality of the person that counts at the end of the day. I have lost over five stones in the past year but that has nothing to do with my weight.
"I am determined that whatever weight I am it won't stop me doing what I want to do, or travelling about the country, or the world for that matter, to see my Cliff.
"My advice to heavy people is to ignore those who make silly comments."
