A COUPLE from Preston are out in sunny Atlanta coaching England's Olympic table tennis hopes.
Preston lad Donald Parker, a former England player and now coach of the English men's team and his wife Jill, a former European champion who coaches the women, are helping guide the cream of the British game. The couple are in southern Atlanta until July 18 when they move into the Olympic Village where they will stay until the end of the games.
The couple live with daughter Katy who is one of England's table tennis prospects for the future.
