LEE Rogers has jetted out to work in Atlanta - serving Big Macs and fries all round!
Lee, 19, who works in McDonalds at Riversway, is one of only 14 restaurant employees chosen to go to the Games from than 30,000 young hopefuls.
He will be working behind the counter in one of the five McDonalds restaurants inside the Olympic Village and will help serve about 15,000 athletes, coaches and officials.
A former student of Runshaw College he joined McDonalds as a part-timer in 1994 and last year became a full time Trainee Floor Manager as well as being crowned the restaurant's employee of the year.
Before setting off, Lee said: "Hopefully it will not all be work. I'm certainly going to have a good time."
Raj Solanki, Manager of McDonalds, Riversway, said: "Lee has done very well and this is an excellent opportunity for him."
McDonalds is the official sponsor of the Olympics.
