A THREE-YEAR contract with a Swiss firm has rolled into uniform specialists Simon Jersey.
The Altham-based firm won the contract to supply a range of uniforms to supermarket chain Migros-Geneve.
Around 3,500 staff members in the firm's 100 stores will be fitted out in the new uniforms in October.
Migros-Geneve is one of the 12 co-operatives of the Migros Group and Simon Jersey's European staff believe there is substantial potential for growth with the group.
"Initially, only two of the 12 co-operatives have placed an order with us but over the next two years the other 10 will also be ordering uniforms from Simon Jersey," said Pascal Chauffeteau, European sales director.
The range created for Migros includes jackets, waistcoats, body warmers, trousers, blouses and dresses.
