ACCOUNTANT Colin Furey has been appointed deputy president of the North West Society of Chartered Accountants.
Colin, 52, is a partner in the Accrington firm of Furey Grange Chartered Accountants and a fellow of the Institute of Management.
A former pupil of St Mary's College, Blackburn, he qualified as a chartered accountant in 1966.
