VACANCIES at job centres across East Lancashire have increased, according to figures released by the Government.
The latest statistics from the Department of Employment show an extra 500 vacancies were notified in the area last month compared with May.
Burnley showed the biggest increase with 525 vacancies - an increase of 66. Blackburn reported 862 vacancies (up 13), Clitheroe 195 (39) and Pendle 385 (20).
