WHEN the executive of the postal workers' union heard of the MPs' 26 per cent pay rise, why did they not cancel their strike and go to the same independent pay body that gave the MPs their increase?
How can the Chancellor give public sector workers three per cent and not apply the same to MPs?
The 26 per cent wouldn't be so bad if they attended all the meetings. Sometimes on TV we see only 10 or 12 in attendance in the Chamber.
