DUE to the success of the Accrington Pals exhibition, it is to be extended for another two weeks until Saturday, August 17.
The exhibition, in Accrington Town Hall, is still being added to with items brought in by the public on a daily basis.
In addition, local historian William Turner, author of two books about the Pals, will be giving two illustrated lectures. These will be held in the supper room of the town hall on Friday, July 26, at 2pm and Thursday, August 1, at 7.30pm. Admission is 50p including tea and biscuits.
